Often, people will ask what it means to be a "Practicing Catholic." Check back here to see the on-going conversation about that. Meanwhile, you can review what's posted below.
“Good Catholic Practices”
This is a short list of what many consider to be the heart of basic “Good Catholic Practices.” If they are not a part of your day, consider seriously making them a regular part of your life. Remember, “God is Love.” Love Him, be good to yourself, and love your neighbor. Peace comes from such things!
Catholics, as a result of their Baptism, are called to evangelize and help others. The great Commandment to Love God is closely followed by the mandate to love our neighbor, and that means commitment to social justice and moral behavior toward others.
Most Holy Redeemer is dedicated to helping. To learn more about how you can participate, check out Ministries on this website like the St Vincent de Paul Society, the Holy Name Society, the Parish Religious Education Program, and the Adult Faith Formation Team (LIFT).
