Sacrament of the Sick

Once reserved for the seriously ill and dying, the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is now given to those individuals and anyone seriously ill about to undergo surgery or other health procedures. It is a Sacrament of Healing wherein the individual is blessed with the grace to understand and endure physical and mental trials in the name of Christ and union with His sufferings for us.
